SafeKey – 2FAuth

Terms of Use

Effective date:

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading or using SafeKey – 2FAuth (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a personal, revocable, non‑transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control, solely for generating authentication codes.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

  1. Subscriptions, free trials, renewals, and cancellations are handled by Apple via your Apple ID account settings.
  2. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period.
  3. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device’s account settings.

4. Refunds

Refunds for purchases made through the App Store are governed by Apple’s policies. Requests should be submitted via Apple’s “Report a Problem” system.

Clarification about usage data for refund assessment (paraphrased statement): If an end user requests a refund for an in‑app purchase, we may provide Apple—solely for the purpose of evaluating that request—with limited consumption information such as: total time the app was used, an anonymized account or device identifier, the total amount spent, and the total amount previously refunded.

5. User Responsibilities

  1. Keep your device secure. Protect exports and backups with strong encryption.
  2. You are responsible for maintaining access to your codes; loss of device or unencrypted backups can result in loss of access to accounts.
  3. Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with service provider policies.

6. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, names, and logos are the property of their respective owners. Using third‑party marks within the App UI is solely for identification of services that support TOTP.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non‑infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the most recent subscription period. We are not liable for loss of access due to lost devices, unencrypted backups, or misconfigured services.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
